Agency, Voice, Structure: Rethinking How We Work With Women

An interactive session with Mahalaxmi Bhobe

Sunday 22nd March | 5:30 - 6:30 pm

Mahalaxmi Vassudev Bhobe lives in Goa and holds a BSc in Home Science and an MA in Social Work. Her work spans education, mental health and environmental engagement, particularly with young people and women. One of her projects helped bring attention to the cultural and social significance of the Kunbi weave. As a researcher, social worker and facilitator, her approach to empowering women and communities often involves introspection and change while preserving tradition.

This session invites participants to step back and reflect on what change truly means, examine how we engage with those we work with, and explore how personal experiences shape these interactions — while introducing practical skills that support meaningful change.
