I am a photojournalist. I must be on the field when necessary. Recently during my travel for a documentation project for the newspaper, on the way I saw a lady feeding stray dogs some biscuits. A thought came in my mind, as for the hotels, restaurants are closed due to the lockdown, what these stray dogs around will be eating? We can do a bit, whenever and wherever possible for us, close by to our areas for these stray dogs.

Right now, during the lockdown I feel, the Police who are working seamlessly on the streets, the Doctors who are working day and night for the betterment of the people & the workers & labourer who clean up the streets are the real unsung heroes.

As China hid the truth globally about the widespread of the disease, many countries and people were very much unaware of what was coming. I feel the perspective of looking at people around will change, without a doubt.

For today, the colour its Black. For tomorrow, Green - Vipul Rege (Photojournalist)
